Adding additional students

You can add additional students anytime! You do not have to create a new account to add additional students. If you have the Individual subscription, you can add up to 49 students total. If you have our Enterprise Plan, there is no maximum! Steps: 1. Log-in to your portal 2. Click the "Manage Students" Tab on the left-hand side. 3. Click "Add Students" in the top, right-hand corner. 4. Enter your student(s) name and email. (Note: students must have access to their own email). 5. Upload manually or via CSV 6. Checkout.

Viewing and Tracking student progress

As a parent or educator each subscription comes with your own portal where you can track your student's grades and view their progress. 1. Log into your administrator portal 2. Select "Manage Students" in the right hand menu 3. Click the "View" icon next to your chosen student 4. Select the module and lesson that you would like track.

Resetting Student Progress - Individual Lesson

To reset a specific lesson, please follow these steps: 1. Log in to your administrator portal. 2. Click Manage Students in the left-hand menu 3. Click the view icon next to the student you wish to manage. 4. Click “View Progress.” 5. Select the module and lesson you want to reset. 6. Click “Reset Student Progress.” As an administrator, you have two attempts maximum to reset their entire progress or their individual lesson progress for each student. Also, please keep in mind that any KV Bucks earned for that lesson will also be reset. This could result in a negative balance if there are insufficient funds. So please make sure the student has enough available funds in their checking account before resetting the lesson.

Resetting Student Progress - Entire Progress

To reset your student's entire progress, which means they would start completely over with Module 1/Lesson 1, contact us to reset. Also, please keep in mind that any KV Bucks earned will also be reset. This could result in a negative balance if there are insufficient funds. So please make sure the student has enough available funds in their checking account before resetting the lesson.

Upgrade from your active or expired Free Trial account

As a registrant, you can upgrade your active Free Trial subscription anytime by following these steps: 1. Log into your parent or educator portal. 2. Click 'Upgrade' in the right-hand corner. 3. Choose your subscription on the redirected page. 4. Click 'Continue' after selecting your subscription. 5. Enter your payment information and complete the checkout process. 6. Once completed, your student will gain access to the additional lessons. If your Free Trial has expired, you can still upgrade your account by clicking 'Upgrade' in the Free Trial notification emails you received from us.

Enabling and disabling cash reward

Once your student achieves their first milestone, they will be asked to connect their Paypal account to receive their cash reward. 1. Log into your administrator account 2. Click 'Settings' in the bottom right hand corner 3. Check the box next to "Allow students to cashout their KV Bucks" to enable this feature or uncheck to disable this feature.

Cancelling your subscription

To cancel your subscription, please complete the following steps: 1. Log into your administrator account 2. Click 'Settings' in the bottom left hand corner 3. Scroll down until you see "Subscription Information" 4. Click cancel subscription. You and your students will retain access to the platform until your current subscription expires.

Updating your password

To reset your password, please complete the following steps: 1. Log into your administrator account 2. Click your initials in the top right hand corner 3. Scroll down until you see "Change Password" 4. Type in your current and new password. 5. Click "Change password"

My student completed all of their lessons. How do I unlock the next grade level's lessons?

Congratulations to your student for completing all of their lessons! You should have received an email inviting you to renew your subscription early so your student can access the next grade level's content. If you haven't seen it, please check your spam and promotional folders. Once your subscription is renewed, the next grade's content will be unlocked.

If you're having trouble accessing the student account, it's likely because you're still logged into your administrator portal, where you can view your student's progress and quiz results. We've sent your student a separate email invitation to log in to the student portal using the student's email address you provided at time of registration. Once they log in with their student email, they’ll have full access to their curriculum and student portal. Please remind them to check all their inbox folders, including spam. If you need us to resend the student their email invitation, just let us know, and we’ll be happy to do so.

To reset a student or teacher password, follow these steps: 1. Log into your administrator account. 2. In the left-hand menu, click the Manage Students tab. 3. Click the View icon next to the selected student. 4. Scroll down to the Change Password section. 5. Enter the new temporary password and click Change Password. 6. The student will receive a temporary password via the email on file. 7. The student must then follow the prompts to reset and update their temporary password.

To invite your friends, follow the below steps: 1. Log in to your admin portal 2. Select Refer A Friend on the left hand side of the menu 3. Select which referral program that you wish to participate in (you can only check one). 4. Follow the steps of your selected program to earn your KV Bucks bonus and discount.

To view your student's curriculum from your admin portal: 1. Log in to your admin portal 2. Click Modules and Lesson Plans 3. Click Modules 4. Click the View icon next to the lesson and material that you wish to view. 5. Click start to view the content of each step.

Progressing to next module or lesson

To move onto the next lesson or module, make sure you've finished all of the sections listed under the "My Progress" menu in your current lesson. You should see a green checkmark next to each section once it's completed. If you don't see the checkmark, then you will need to complete the section first. After all sections have their green checkmarks, you're good to move onto the next lesson!

Cashing Out Your KV Bucks

At KidVestors, you earn ten cents ($0.10) for every $1,000 KV Bucks. To view your financial reward, check the 'Overview' page under 'My Wallet' in the left-hand menu. Once you've reached your milestone, to cash out your cash reward, follow these steps: 1. Click your avatar or initials located in the top right hand corner of your dashboard 2. Scroll down until you see "Connect Paypal Account" 3. Follow the steps to connect your PayPal account 4. Click 'Overview' under the 'My Wallet' tab on the left hand menu. 5. Click 'Cash Out' underneath your lifetime earnings. 6. Access your rewards through your connected PayPal account.

Why did I get a 0% on my quiz?

If you navigate away from the quiz or exit without completing it, your score will automatically be recorded as 0%. To avoid this, make sure you finish the entire quiz before leaving the page. If you accidentally exit the quiz, you can reset it to try again. Please contact your teacher or administrator and ask them to reset your lesson for you.

Help! I can't complete my activity

In order to progress to the next activity, students must pay themselves first once completing their quiz. Students should click the “Pay Yourself First” button on the screen after the quiz is completed (10% to savings and 15% to their investment account ). Once that is completed, then they can move onto the next activity .

I completed all of my modules. How do I access the next grade level's content?

Congratulations on completing all of your modules! Contact your administrator and let them know that you'd like for them to renew to unlock the next grade leve's content. Once they renew, your new content will be unlocked.

Why aren't my videos working?

Our videos are currently hosted exclusively on YouTube. If you're having trouble viewing them, there might be a parental restriction in place. While our videos aren’t available on YouTube Kids at the moment, they can be accessed on YouTube. To ensure everything works smoothly, please check with your admin to confirm that your laptop or desktop browser allows access to YouTube. If any parental controls are blocking content beyond YouTube Kids, our videos unfortunately won’t be accessible.
